The Role: As a Consultant CFD Engineer, you’ll be more than just a part of our team; you'll be a key player in our growth story. This isn't just about delivering projects (ranging from £5k-100k); it's about shaping the future of our consultancy. With the support of senior consultants, you'll tackle challenges head-on, drive innovation, and make a lasting impact on our projects and processes. Who We're Looking For: • Experience & Education: ~5 years in a consultancy setting (or similar) with an Engineering or STEM postgraduate degree (PhD, MSc, MEng). • Innovative Thinker: You're not just solving problems; you're redefining solutions. • Technical Expertise: o CAD Proficiency: Strong experience in cleaning and preparing complex CAD geometry for CFD modelling. o CFD Specialist: Extensive experience with OpenFOAM across various physics types & application areas, with a focus on developing bespoke methodologies and workflows. o Scripting & Systems: Proficient in Python/Shell/VBA scripting and comfortable with Linux and HPC systems. o Emerging Technologies: Experience with AI and Machine Learning in engineering applications is a significant plus. • Client-Savvy: Comfortable and experienced in engaging with clients. • Communication Skills: Exceptional at translating complex findings into clear, actionable insights.
