The laboratory of Intelligent Multiphase flows and Particle Technology at  
Shanghai Jiao Tong University plans to recruit one postdoctoral fellows 
and research assistants. The laboratory has carried out extensive industry- 
university-research projects with multinational companies. The current research 
mainly focuses on multiphase computational fluid dynamics and the development of 
digital twins for fluid and particle systems, recently working on the fusion of 
machine learning/Artificial intelligence and multiscale modeling for industrial 
applications such as civil, petrochemical, and pharmaceutical processes. 

Qualifications:
1. Ph.D. degree in Engineering, Mathematics, or Physics, no more than 36 ages
2. Background on fluid dynamics, heat transfer, particle technology, or machine 
learning.
3. Excellent verbal and written English skills.
4. Have Programming skills or excellent in using commercial simulation software.

Salary will be commensurate with experience and qualifications (at least 240,000 
Chinese Yuan annually, which will be around $33,000 US dollars, extra payment 
and bonus could be made based on performance). The initial contract will be one 
or two years and is possible to further extend. Review of applications will
