Post-doc position in computing elastic capsule and biological cell motion 

Description:

The Biomechanics and Computational Physics group at the Department of 
Aerospace and Software Engineering, Gyeongsang National University, South 
Korea seeks applications for a full-time post-doctoral research fellow 
position. The research in the group involves bioengineering and modeling 
interactions of soft cells/drops. The research activity is carried out within a 
multidisciplinary research and design team including post-docs and research 
students. The successful candidate will develop/upgrade existing software for 
analyzing FSI-induced cell injury/damage and related clinical complications.

Preferred Qualifications:
•	Ph.D. in Aerospace, Mechanical, Chemical Engineering, Applied 
Mathematics, or related discipline.
•	Proven track record of publishing high-quality academic journals.
•	Experience in Computational Fluid Dynamics (e.g., COMSOL, OpenFOAM).
•	Programming proficiency in finite volume methods coupled with VoF 
formulation, immersed boundary method, and lattice Boltzmann method. 

The position is immediately available.
