A post-doctoral position in Computational Fluid Dynamics is available at the
University of Louvain (UCLouvain) in Belgium. The topic concerns turbulent 
convection with boiling and has many interesting applications in the industry 
and the environment. 

The proposed research involves model development for the ascending motion of 
bubbles generated due to boiling, and Large-Eddy Simulations via high-performance 
computing techniques.

The appointment is for an initial period of 12 months, and is renewable for
another period of 12 months. The postdoctoral fellow will join the Multi-phase 
and Reacting Flows group of the University of Louvain. Information about our

Requirements:
- a PhD degree obtained at most 6 years from the time of hiring.
- research experience in fluid mechanics or applied mathematics
- mobility rule: the selected candidate must not have worked in Belgium for
 more than 12 months in the 3-year period preceding the date of hiring.
