CALL FOR JUNIOR RESEARCH FELLOW (JRF) FOR A DST and DBT PROJECT 



Applications are invited from suitable candidates for Junior Research Fellow (JRF) to work on the following 
project sponsored under the supervision of Prof Balaji Krishnamurthy, Department of Chemical 
Engineering, BITS Pilani Hyderabad Campus.



Position 1



Title of the project: Modeling the effect of changing bio film thickness on the performance of microbial 
fuel cell

 

Duration of the project: 33 months Project position and number: JRF (1 position)

 Fellowship amount: 31,000+HRA(DST norms) 



Position 2

Title of the project: Modeling the performance of DET and MET based enzymatic glucose fuel cells

 

Duration of the project: 3 years Project position and number: JRF (1 position)

 Fellowship amount: 31,000+HRA(DBT norms) 



Eligibility requirements: M.Tech in Chemical Engineering/Bio Technology/Mechanical Engineering.  
Candidates with MSc in chemistry with strong computational background, Phd in Chemical Engineering 
with strong computational background can apply, BE candidates can also apply. Candidates with good 
knowledge of MATLAB/Comsol/Ansys and strong computational background. While the position is 
computational, some experimental work will be involved as well.
