PhD scholarship in biomimetic flow, flow instability and multiphase flow
(starting in September 2023)
A PhD program in Fluid Mechanics starting in September 2023 is open now for
application.
Up to 3 applicants can be admitted to work with Prof. Jian Deng in the
Department of Engineering Mechanics, Zhejiang University (Hangzhou, China).

The applicants are expected to:
1) hold a master degree in Mechanical Engineering, Civil Engineering, Applied
Maths, Computer Science, or other relevant subjects.
2) have experience in Computational Mechanics, or Scientific Computing.
3) be able to write codes using C/C++, Fortran, or Python.
The applicants must apply for the Chinese Government Scholarship (CSC), and only
those who successfully obtain this scholarship can be considered for this

The PhD student will work in the Yuquan Campus, Zhejiang University, 38 Zheda
Road, West Lake District, Hangzhou, China.

city, and it is a nice place to live.
