The Institute for Polymer and Composites, a research unit from the University of Minho (Guimarães/Portugal), is looking for 2 post-doctoral research fellows and 2 researchers holding an MSc degree, with previous experience in OpenFOAM® computational library, for on-going research projects. 

The main aim of the projects is the development of computational tools to support the design of polymer processing equipment and polymeric parts. The work comprises both numerical and experimental approaches, but is mainly focused in the development and use of computational tools based in OpenFOAM®.

Required profile:
- PhD or MSc in Mechanical, Materials and Polymer Engineering or related 
areas;
- Strong background in computational modelling from user and the developer 
point of views;
- Expertise in OpenFOAM computational library;
- Previous experience with non-Newtonian fluid mechanics is favored.
