We're currently looking for our new Thermoflow CFD Engineer, who will join the 
Simulation Competence Center team in developing advanced thermoflow simulation 
CFD technologies and methodologies.

A TYPICAL DAY AT WORK

Working within R&D means bringing innovative products to market– from 
refrigerators, washing machines and ovens to vacuum cleaners and professional 
kitchens. It involves providing technology roadmaps and sustainable solutions 
for product development that enable us to deliver more differentiated products 
across brands and regions.

As a Thermoflow CFD Engineer, you will help us in our mission by promoting the 
development of thermoflow simulation CFD technologies, while also contributing 
to the improvement of efficiency and competence regarding CFD simulations in 
Electrolux. In order to do so, you will create, validate and deploy CFD models, 
vying for increased speed, reliability and affordability, while also keeping in 
mind the necessity for innovation and for optimization in product development.

You will work in close contact with the GTO (Group Technology Organization) 
Simulation Competence Center and with the whole Electrolux Simulation community, 
ensuring a seamless and integrated delivery of project portfolio and overall 
simulation strategy. To this end, you must contribute to technology roadmapping, 
to the definition of specifications and drawings for prototype creation, and to 
the design, preparation and execution of experimental testing.

You will drive technical activities in the CAE/CFD field to guarantee proper 
deliverables, timing, reporting and risk analysis, as well as implement DOE, 
optimization and statistical analysis tools. You will also be expected to test 
and contribute to adopt SPDM (Simulation Product Data Management) on thermoflow 
analysis models, and generate and maintain CAD models. You will collaborate in 
an international environment within Electrolux CXO, CO functions within all 
business areas.

As part of the culture of continuous improvement, you will be involved in Lean 
Thinking projects and activities (EMS/C2W).

MINIMUM QUALIFICATION

Master's Degree in Mechanical Engineering or related Engineering field 
(PHD/post-degree in Thermo-fluids is a plus);
Certification on CFD CAE technology (preferably Siemens Star-CCM+);
Solid project management experience;
Strong knowledge on thermal fluids and heat and mass transfer;
Knowledge on 3D CAD (preferably CATIA);
Knowledge of statistics, DOE, optimization and quality tools;
Knowledge of FEM and structural analysis tools;
Knowledge of Model Based Design, System modelling;
Knowledge of activities management;
Knowledge of experimental analysis in thermoflow characterization;
Advanced Office skills;
Fluent English.
