Apply directly! John Zink Hamworthy Combustion, a KES Company, is seeking a entry level CFD Engineer to work in our CFD Group. This group is part of our Global Process and Technology Group with responsibility for technology development, product development, and process engineering for our engineered combustion and emissions solutions businesses. We serve the international refining, petro- chemical, and power generation markets. The CFD Group also provides technical support on commercial projects for our Flare, Burner, Thermal Oxidizer, and Vapor Control technologies. What You Will Do In Your Role Own and execute CFD Projects from proposal through analysis, reporting and presentation Contribute to long-term growth through technology and product development and working to leverage CFD simulation capabilities to improve product design, product understanding and technology and assist the order acquisition phase Demonstrate technical superiority and generate innovating solutions for customers Support technology and advancements as it relates to other KES companies Provide technical support for commercial projects related to John Zink Hamworthy Combustion equipment The Experience You Will Bring Requirements: Experience working with any of the following softwares: FLUENT, STAR-CCM+, OprnFoam, Kiva, CFX, Converge, CFD++, AVBP, CDP, MFIX, Banff, Glacier, or Star-CD Experience and understanding working with fluid mechanics and thermal sciences Experience working in a combustion related field What Will Put You Ahead Working in a lab, R&D space or any other experimental setting Experience working with combustion packaged equipment such as flares, burners, thermal oxidizers, and vapor control technologies Our goal is for each employee, and their families, to live fulfilling and healthy lives.
