Expressions of interest are invited for Marie Curie Fellowship application on “Ignition and combustion characteristics of cryogenic hydrogen jets” to be hosted by Warwick FIRE, University of Warwick.  

Potential applicants should have used OpenFOAM for the simulation of turbulent combustion, and ideally have conducted some code development within the frame of  OpenFOAM and have published at least two journal papers. You should have already defended their PhD and be within a maximum of 8 years from date of award of your PhD. 

To express your intertest, please email your CV including publication list by 15 September 2021. The outcome of the application  is expected to be announced in February/March 2022 with the starting date of the successful candidates to be from June 2022 to August 2023, to be agreed between the Fellow and the host. Marie Curie Fellows are generally supported with a living allowance plus mobility/family allowance, which together provides a salary that is similar to that of an Associate Professor in the UK.
