PhD Assistantship Positions

PhD Assistantships are available in the Porous Media and Multiphase Flow Laboratory 
in the Department of Mechanical and Aerospace Engineering at NC State University.
The positions will start in January 2022 (or earlier). The applicants must have a 
BS or a MS degree in Mechanical or Chemical Engineering, in addition to a strong 
background in Fluid and Solid Mechanics, Mathematics, and Computer Programming. 
Familiarity with polymeric materials is a plus.

The Mechanical and Aerospace at NC State University has an enrollment of over 1,200 
undergraduates and 400 graduate students. The department is housed in Engineering
