The Department of Mathematical Sciences at New Jersey Institute of Technology (NJIT) is inviting candidates to apply to our doctoral program track in Applied Mathematics.

The Department research focus spans from Computational Fluid Dynamics, Scientific Computing, Materials Science, Wave Propagation, and Applied Analysis to Mathematical Biology and Data Science.

Teaching and research assistantships are available, and include a tuition waiver and a competitive stipend ($24,000 per academic year in addition to $6,000 support for summer research, pending availability of funding).

Application target date is December 15, 2020 but ongoing review will continue until all available positions are filled.
