Flyingcircus is on a distinguished road
Hi!

I'm looking for a tool that can read VTK files and plot a vector field in the direction of a pre-defined non-linear custom path (in contrast to just plotting in the direction of one of the axes or a linear path)

Basically I need a plot of the vectors that are parallel to the custom path AND originate on a plane to which the custom path is a normal vector at the point of intersection.
I hope I didn't make it too confusing.

I'm currently using Paraview and it doesn't seem to have any such function, but I'd be very happy if you could point me to one if it does exist.

It would be nice if the tool is able to run on Windows, but Linux is fine aswell.

Thanks in advance!
