hi
i would like to know that how can i visualize the results on a plane for a three dimensional object in tecplot.. i have modeled a 90 degree bend and i want to cut the slice at different angles (for example at 0, 45 and 90 degrees) and to see the velocity contours at each plane.. i have tecplot 360 .. kindly let me know step by step procedure to do this.. will be thankful ... |

The tutorials on the Tecplot web-site may answer your question. Go to this link: http://www.tecplot.com/Training/FeatureTutorials.aspx and then click on the "Slice Plot" tutorial (the eighth one in the list). Watch the tutorial all the way through to receive information on slicing at an arbitrary angle (or non-XYZ plane).
Cheers, Scott |

Make slices.
Change the viewpoint to 3D Under derived objects select slices to turn them on hit the "..." to chose the plane, contours, contour level, etc You can make more than one |
