Hi,
I want to extract pressure coefficient data from Tecplot. I used options to write data, and extract data but my data file looks like the one I am attaching. Can you please help me with how to get the data for CP and similarly other plots? Thank you. |

This is a strange file - it only includes a single variable (Pressure Coefficient). Tecplot 360 needs at least two variables of data to plot anything. Typically you'd have XYZ variables as well to define a grid. How did you produce this data file?

For extracting CP and other plots, you can use the “Zone” and “Variable” options in Tecplot to filter out what you need. After that, go to Write Data and select the variables you want.If it still looks weird, it might be how the data is structured during the export—double-check if there’s an option to include additional variables or formats. And if your data is tied to users or sensitive info, something like an identity validation service can add a layer of security while sharing or processing files.
