Hi All,
I have some 3D PIV data that I acquired using TSI's INSIGHT 4G. Files are in .V3D format.

The PIV system acquires data in cartesian coordinates.
I am interested in computing the Swirl number from my PIV data.

The Swirl number is defined as :
SN=\frac{\int_{r_0}^{r_i} \omega u r^2 dr}{R^{'} \int_{r_0}^{r_i}  u^2 r dr}

where {r_o} , {r_i} are the outer and inner radius
This is how a plot looks like :

So i would only be interested in integrating what's within the green and red regions.

Does anyone know if this is possible to do in Tecplot?

If I were using Paraview, I would :
1. Convert my cartesian into polar coordinates
2. Calculate the tangential velocity
3. Clip the area of the graph that I'm interested in
4. Integrate that area

I'm not sure how to go about doing this in Tecplot?
