Hello,
I would like to load my data generated by Fluent 2019R3 into Tecplot for postprocessing. Usually I load the final .cas and .dat file into Tecplot and everything works just fine. But this time I used a more complex chemistry model in my simulation and this procedure doesn't work anymore. This is the error message I receive when I want to load the .cas and .dat file: ZoneID 9 referenced in data file 'folder' is not a valid zone. There is a size mismatch between the case file and the data file for zone ID #9. In the case file it is of size 0 but in the data file is it so size 194282. Next, to bypass this problem, I exported the .plt file in Fluent. Tecplot is able to open this file and show most of the Contour plots for example. But ~95% of the variables are described with Dataset:UNKNOWN. As a result I can't look at the streamline traces or at probe data at specified points. Does anyone know how to solve this? Thanks alot! |

I think it would be best if you contacted our support staff: support@tecplot.com so we can investigate the data. This could be a problem with Fluent's output or it could be a problem with our Fluent data loader. It's hard to know without looking at the raw data.
