Hello everybody,
I have export the data from FLUENT, and I would like to compare the delta from the two countors... Here is my results results.png and here is the tutorial online case_tutorial.jpg I saw some researchers have post the method and steps as follow: - Export the data from Fluent to Tecplot. - Load both data sets into Tecplot. - Data → Create Zone → Duplicate. Duplicate any zone you like, click OK. - Data → Alter → Specify equations. Select the third zone. Write {VARNAME}={VARNAME}[2]-{VARNAME}[1], replacing VARNAME with the variable name of interest. Click Compute. But I still can not generate it, Does anybody know whether I can subtract these two cases in Tecplot? |

You have the basic steps correct. You load both datasets into the same frame in Tecplot 360, create a duplicate zone to hold the result and then you can do the subtraction as indicated. Both source zones need to have the same number of grid points, since Tecplot 360 node a point-by-point subtraction.
If you need further help you can always contact support@tecplot.com. Scott |
