Hi everyone,
I am very new to tecplot 360, so i appreciate everyone for their help. I would like to plot the mach number contour plot of a blade at different slices of the blade for example from the tip area, hub area and mid span. Can i check with the experts how can I do it? I have a list of values on x,y,z, rho, ux, uy, uz, P name under file .tec? I presume the rho and P are the local values, and i will need to calculate T with T=P/(rho*R) and than follow by calculating the local Mach number? Thank you if you could advise and share with me some tips. |

You can use Calculate Variables under the Analyze Menu to calculate both Temperature and Mach Number. You'll need to specify the thermodynamic variables in Analyze->Field Variables... first. Once you've calculated Mach Number you can add slices to your plot and color them by Mach Number.
Hope that helps. Scott |
