Hey all,
We currently use ANSYS, mainly Fluent sometimes CFX, at the company I work at for all our CFD problems, and use the CFD post for all the post-processing. In my master's degree we used tecplot 360 and I'm trying to argue that we should include it into our software library but I've been asked to give reasons why it would be worth the cost. Other than my general view that it has higher applicability in data manipulation and makes cooler looking pictures I was hoping someone would be able to quantify the differences between the two a bit better than I can! Cheers! |

And now with Tecplot 360 2017 R1 and newer this can all be automated with PyTecplot, our new Python API. Thanks, Scott Fowler Tecplot 360 Product Manager |
