Hi all,

I'm hoping someone can help me with this problem. Yesterday I upgraded from an older version of Tecplot 360 (2014) to Tecplot 360 Ex 2016 R2. I opened a data file that I've been working on and turned on isocontours. To my surprise, instead of getting the isocontours of the stretched toroid I've been working with, parts of it appear to be cut off.

At first I thought it was some sort of weird image blanking setting, but I can confirm that image blanking is definitely turned off.

Does anyone have any idea what might have changed between the two versions to cause this to happen? It was definitely working with the old version.

Thanks in advance,
Chris

I did, it took me a few days to figure out though!

In the code that I was using to define the variables at each position, I was assigning locations outside the interpolant as NaN's. This worked fine in the previous version of Tecplot, but resulted in the error I described in the new version.

The fix was simply to replace all the NaN values with 0.

Hope that helps!
