Are Tecplot's streamtraces different than streamlines?

Default Are Tecplot's streamtraces different than streamlines?

Roule is on a distinguished road
In Tecplot, there is option to plot streamtraces. Are these same as streamlines. If yes, why is it names streamtraces and not streamlines. Is there any difference between the two.
