wht2019 is on a distinguished road
Recently I am doing a 2D simulation. When i calculate the vorticity in Tecplot , according to the definition in tecplot user's manual:

In a 2D, the vorticiy will be created in Z direction which does not exist. Does this indicate that one can not get the gradient of vorticity or Laplace Operation in 2D ? Because both of the calulation needs Z direction.
