Greetings guys,

does anybody know how to plot variables over a specific series of points in TecPlot? For example, plot velocity magnitude over variable X, with Y,Z constant. I've tried the 2D Cartesian feature but it wasn't a lot of success so far.

Regards

Just creat a file with the extension of ".txt" or ".dat", and the fist column of the content in the file is about the coodinates, the other columns about the values of your variables.
Then open the file with Tecplot.

Paopaoai11 thanks for your reply, indeed this a workaround to do what I described above, but I am actually looking for a Line "Zone" (compared to the Rectangular Zone) where you can isolate points along a line. It's like the PlotOverLine filter in Paraview or a line of probes.

Regards

Do you have a data file? Maybe you can post your data here, and describe your objective in detail. It will be better if you provide a similar sketch.
