Hello all,
I got question to use tecplot with double precision. Mostly i used the unformatted single-precision solutions for tecplot. And it worked well. Now i need to handle double-precision. Then Can Tecplot automatically detect the unformatted double-precision solutions ? Otherwise, Is there any special treatment for Tecplot to deal with this format? Any comments and advices are welcome. Thanks in advance. |

My understanding is that Tecplot 360 EX will automatically handle and plot double-precision solutions.
The only difference you might notice are more precise contour plots, and longer load times for the data. Scott |
