Default Streamlines emerging from wall

Hi,

I have simulation results of flow over a step. The streamlines are emerging from the wall/step and going into the step which is fundamentally wrong.

Is there any thing wrong with the mesh / simulation/solver settings?

How to go about this?

Does this normally happen?
