Hi there,
I am trying to ِDraw my mesh using Tecplot. my mesh consists of space between two circles and i have made a DAT file in which the rectangular coordinates of points are written. but when i insert in to tecplot int connects the points only in circumferential order and it looks like a bunch of circles rather than mesh cells. they are not connected in radial order. I dont know if i am producing the file right or if i am inserting it in tecplot in the corroct way please help me this is too urgent |

Hello Noa_sisi,
What is the structure of your mesh IJK-ordered or finite element? Tecplot 360 has a tool that you can find under Data > Create Zone > Circular, that can be used to create a cylindrical mesh. To get an understanding of how the data is formatted, it could be useful to write out one of these Circular zones. Note that our Circular Zone tool creates it in IJK-Ordered structure. |
