Hi guys,
after using "renumberMesh" I am not able to load any OF results into Tecplot. I am using Tec360ex and tried also with different versions. I know that this hast to do somehting with the renumbering of the polyMesh...so is there any workaround for this bug? Of course I could use foamToTec360, but I would prefer the Data Loader of Tecplot itself. This is my output: Code:
/opt/tec360/tec360exR2/bin/../bin/libtpsdkbase.so(+0x4da60e) [0x7f5c2348660e] /opt/tec360/tec360exR2/bin/../bin/libtpsdkbase.so(+0x4db449) [0x7f5c23487449] /opt/tec360/tec360exR2/bin/../bin/libtpsdkbase.so(+0x28d369) [0x7f5c23239369] /lib/x86_64-linux-gnu/libpthread.so.0(+0x10340) [0x7f5c1b32f340] /lib/x86_64-linux-gnu/libc.so.6(+0x9d744) [0x7f5c196fc744] /opt/tec360/tec360exR2/bin/../bin/libtecutildataio_loadfea.so(vdm_DatasetResult+0xb9) [0x7f5b7ecc1679] /opt/tec360/tec360exR2/bin/../bin/libtecutildataio_loadfea.so(+0xae961) [0x7f5b7ec39961] /opt/tec360/tec360exR2/bin/../bin/libtecutildataio_loadfea.so(+0xaf4b6) [0x7f5b7ec3a4b6] /opt/tec360/tec360exR2/bin/../bin/libtpsdkbase.so(+0x17f102) [0x7f5c2312b102] /opt/tec360/tec360exR2/bin/../bin/libtpsdkbase.so(+0x17f68b) [0x7f5c2312b68b] /opt/tec360/tec360exR2/bin/../bin/libtpsdkbase.so(+0x16bc64) [0x7f5c23117c64] /opt/tec360/tec360exR2/bin/../bin/libtpsdkbase.so(+0x181aa2) [0x7f5c2312daa2] /opt/tec360/tec360exR2/bin/../bin/libtpsdkbase.so(+0x183a14) [0x7f5c2312fa14] /opt/tec360/tec360exR2/bin/../bin/libtpsdkbase.so(+0x2435db) [0x7f5c231ef5db] /opt/tec360/tec360exR2/bin/../bin/libtpsdkbase.so(+0x243a83) [0x7f5c231efa83] /lib/x86_64-linux-gnu/libpthread.so.0(+0x8182) [0x7f5c1b327182] /lib/x86_64-linux-gnu/libc.so.6(clone+0x6d) [0x7f5c1975a00d] |

Hi,
I got a workaround for this problem, just if anyone is interested: 1)rename 0/ to /0.bak 2) rename new timefolder after renumbering to 0/ 3) start calculation 4) Tecplot can load the data You can do this also afterwards |

Hello hxaxtma,
Previous version of Tecplot were able to load in a renumberMesh data file, but we believe it was not being loaded in correctly. When loaded into Tecplot 360 2013 R1, all that is added is an additional time step. From the research I have done, it should be replacing the entire mesh structure. What would you expect Tecplot to display when loading a data file that has been renumbered? |
