Hello there,
Does anybody know how to display a line's equation in tecplot after having been fitted to a couple of data points?
Thanks in advance.

In Tecplot 360 EX (2014) one right clicks on the line and selects “Curve details” and the location where you want the information placed (on your screen or to a file).

Thanks for the help. Actually my tecplot is 2011 and it doesn't have that option to click on a curve to see a list of options like the one in your picture. However, from data icon, curve information may be obtained. still data won't appear on the curve, you may want to type it in a text or sth to show it...

Hi! To display a line’s equation in Tecplot, you’ll need to fit your data using a curve-fitting tool or script and then manually add the equation as a text annotation. Unfortunately, Tecplot doesn’t generate or display the equation automatically.

If you're looking for an easier way to fit data points and get the equation, you might want to try SplineCloud’s curve fitting tool. It’s a handy tool for tasks like this!
