Basically a simple question if there is any chance to read a simple csv data file into tecplot.
It has the following structure: first coulumn x values, and then for every y value a velocity like this: 0 1 2 3 0 0 0.2 0.3 0.1 1 0.1 0.2 0.4 0.1 2 0 0.2 0.2 0.2 3 0 0.1 0.1 0.1 it would work if this were and excel file and i would be on a windows pc, but I suppose there is a way to get this in a well sorted way into tecplot - I just can't figure out how to do it. It is possible to read the data with tex spreadsheet loader and general text loader but it's unuseable unsortet if I read it this way. I suppose it would work if I chose block format in general text loader but I don't get what variables it needs to read my data. Can perhaps anyone give an example? |

This video on YouTube may be of help: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LxRu9CcnmHI , and these tutorials on Tecplot's web-site: http://www.tecplot.com/support/tutor...tting-started/ could be helpful too. On the last link, you will want to look at the tutorial titled "Tecplot Focus Gas Burner Tutorial".
