Dear Commmunity,

I have data for the 3D velocity field distribution on 8 files (8 cores) like this (512,512,64). I calculate the energy spectra using this formula, E(k) = |u(k)|**2 + |v(k)|**2 + |w(k)|** 2 parrallelly on 8 cores, and at the end performed summation from all cores and store value for each k in one core.
But when I compare this with the value of the energy spectra that were generated during the simulation using the same formula, they are not exactly the same.
For lower k, the difference is considerable, but as we move towards higher k, the difference is not much higher, but for all k, the value is higher than the original spectra generated from the form code.
Thanks in advance for your help.
