Hello all,

I am trying to input flow forces from calculated in Ansys Fluent for a geometry in my 1D amesim model.

I have a question about how does the definition of flow forces differ in these two softwares.

Flow forces in Fluent is given as sum of pressure + viscous term

The component in Amesim in which I am trying to input my flow forces is BAOT1-1.

One can read about it in attached document as to what forces it considers and how it calculates. It says that this component considers fjet as flow force which is a sum of force at port 3 and pressure force (if i neglect force at port 4 assuming this force comes from a pin pushed by a solenoid current and is a physical force).

Does this mean that force at port 3 in amesim is the viscous term in fluent?
