Hello,
I am looking for any references of unusual pin-fin shapes. I saw some publication about raindrop shaped pin-fins based on the Superformula by Johan Gielis and I was wondering if anyone else has ever publish/studied the pin-fin performance of "funny" shapes. Ideally I would be interested in the three easy-to-use performance indicators in efficiency, thermal resistance and effectiveness. I would be interested in any type of analytical development and/or methodology to properly simulate and/or measure this, ideally using COMSOL multiphysics. I hope I've correctly written this post (in the right place and using the right words) as I am not a ME nor my first language is english. Thank you very much in advance. -- Guilherme |
