Hello guys, https://su2code.github.io/tutorials/...nt_Flat_Plate/

in this tutorial, the flat plate length is "2m" as stated. However, in su2 code

% Reynolds length (in meters)
REYNOLDS_LENGTH= 1.0
% Reference length for pitching, rolling, and yawing non-dimensional moment
REF_LENGTH= 1.0
%
% Reference area for force coefficients (0 implies automatic calculation)
REF_AREA= 2.0

So, in the calculation of Reynolds number, the length is based on 1m or 2m??? And why did not they use 2.0 for Reynolds_Length and Ref_Area? I did not understand this part...

"% Reynolds length (in meters)" what is that, a dimensional number?

I see the figure showing the velocity profile in a turbulent BL. That means you have a fully developed turbulent flow along a flat plate, corresponding to a local Reynolds number of about 10^6. On a flat plate there is only a local Re_x value.

The Re_tau is a different parameter.

I don't know exactly because I'm trying to learn. Why is the area 2 when the Reynolds Length and Ref Length values are 1?
