I am trying to export the cell area defined at each vertex from SU2. I wonder how to export this quantity? From a Google search I found that the CSinglezoneDriver.GetMarkerVertexNormals() shall give out a vertex normal such that the norm shall corresponds to the cell area of the corresponding vertex. However, this makes no sense to me. A vertex is at the edge of several cells, which cell area is the norm of this vertex normal corresponding to. Or perhaps this area is the area of the polygon defined by all edges by taking the central line of all connecting vertices?
Is there any good write-up for this issue? How is the vertex normal defined?
Thank you!
