Supersonic inlet profile

Hi all,
Is it possible to specify an inlet profile for a supersonic flow in SU2? I've tried both a mass flow inlet and total conditions inlet and my simulation just diverges instantly |

Is this specifically when using an inlet profile from a file? It converges with constant inflow conditions? Do you have a small example testcase?

Yes, I meant when specifying an inlet profile from a file. I have tried it with uniform inlet conditions and it runs fine, but I'd like to impose an inlet profile if possible. I've tried MARKER_INLET and MARKER_SUPERSONIC_INLET; using the former it diverges instantly and the latter converges but doesn't use the inlet profile from the file.

Hi,
I checked the implementation and support for inlet profiles is currently not implemented for supersonic inlets. You might be able to get this working if you modify the BC_Supersonic_Inlet implementation using the inlet profile implementation of BC_Inlet (in CEulerSolver.cpp) and recompile. |
