Hey, I run a 3D case in the Testcases/rans/oneram6. When it produces the surface_flow.vtu, I open it by Tecplot. However, I find that the values of Momentum_X,Y,Z are all equal to zero. I am a new CFDer. I am wondering how to output the exact Momentum_X,Y,Z on the surface?

The surface_flow.vtu contains only the wing surface (the surface defined with MARKER_PLOTTING), and the velocity is zero on the surface. Try the flow.vtu file instead.

If you want to have the information on boundaries and the interior as separate entities, then save as PARAVIEW_MULTIBLOCK instead and view the .vtm file in paraview.

Thank you for your quick reply. I ignored the effects of boundary conditions.
In fact, I want to visualize the surface flow by extracting surface streamlines from velocity/momentum. It seems unavailable in my original practice with zero surface momentum. Do you have any sugguestions for extracting surface streamlines?

Are we both talking about the same thing, the surface of the wing? The flow velocity on a solid no-slip surface is zero, so you cannot define a streamline on the surface. Do you have a picture of what you would like to achieve?
