Hello, I'm relatively new to SU2 and Linux in general, I had previously used SU2 in normal mode and parallel mode successfully in window's WSL in one computer. I'm now in another machine and installed Mint, I downloaded SU2, edited .bashrc correctly, and installed MPICH via the command line with "sudo apt install mpich", I then ran a simulation , that I had successfully run on another computer, in normal mode and it worked, I then tried running it in parallel mode and I get the exit codes 9 and 139, depending on the number of cores I use. I tried deleting and downloading again SU2, and removing and installing again mpich but it didn't work, I googled the error but couldn't find it in a situation like mine, these errors occur right at the beginning of the simulation. Thanks in advance.

UPDATE (SOLVED):
I ran another pogram with mpich to test if it was working correctly and it was, so I figured the problem was an imcompatibility between mpich and SU2. So I decided to install it building from source, after that the problem was solved. I only had another little issue while installing it, the su2 installer was saying something about my python version not being valid, so I downloaded the Anaconda version and that solved it. |
