Dear Colleagues
openvsp software is useful for creating geometry Is there an easy way to transform the geometry to SU2 volume mesh file (including farfield, symmetry plane (or not) ). Any help, hints welcome Many thanks rn86j |

You can export the mesh to stl and import it in gmsh and then export to su2 from there. You can add the boundary conditions in gmsh as well

I merged an STL file. But the resulting grid in the outer volume seems to go through the object from the STL file.... Must be doing some commands incorrectly! Will it be possible to jot down the sequence of commands needed or perhaps a geo or ? I am trying to create a Spherical volume grid around a simple wing (or wing-body) stl file Many Thanks and help appreciated rn86j |
