I am running unsteady simulations on a single block fine grid (cuboid topology) whose far-field is 100c_ref away from the surface. To reduce space consumption, I want to have the solution output on 30c_ref away around the wing surface at the time frames in the given time interval.
Please give suggestions on that. |

we currently do not have the possibility to create points, lines or planes in SU2 and only save the data on these entitities. You can create such reduced data with paraview from the entire paraview solution file and then discard the original solution file.
Maybe it is possible to create a surface at this location in the mesh file and save the data on this surface to a file. |

Thank you for your reply.
What if I want the solution output within the 30c_ref away around the wing surface? This will be a fraction of the total flow-field volume over the surface. |
