I have just installed and compiled the SU2 source code and have come into issues when I have tried to run a test case. I have tried running multiple test cases and I am getting the same issue the error message has been coppied below. I am new to SU2 and would appreciate some help

What test cases are you running? That config option is out-of-date with the most recent release of SU2.

I am running the transition flat plate test cases that have come with the installation I cant get any test case to run. I have followed the compile instructions exactly but can not get SU2 to run

Hi,


unfortunately we have some cases in the Testcases/ folder that are not in our automatically tested regression tests. So that folder name is maybe a bit misleading ... or just needs thorough cleaning.


Please exchange the EXT_ITER with ITER or INNER_ITER, in case of steady single-zone cases (as it the case here) the two options are identical.
