Hello my friends I´m new here and my research area are hypersonic waverider geometries. I´m intersting to do some simulations with NEMO-Navier_Stokes und der Air-5 library, but when I start my simulation it ends at the point "NO Jacobian structure" and the calculation doesn't start ... (please refer picture)
Is the NEMO-Solver actually not yet suitable for 3D grids (in my appendix is the config-File)? Thank you for your answers. Best Maximilian |

Hi Maximilian,
Thanks for using NEMO! and thanks for your question. NEMO works for 3D simulations. The no jacobian structure is all good, this simply means you are running an explicit simulation. I am in the process of verifying the implicit capabilities. Unfortunately, one of the biggest issues with NEMO is speed. Running large grids will take a while to get through the preprocessing stage and is best done in parallel. The link with Mutation++ runs much quicker (though is still slower than a typical simulation). Id be happy to help out with other problems you may run into and try to help. Best, Wally |
