Upon instaling the SU2 binaries with mpi support and installing the required mpi files, I go to run my simulation with mpiexec -n 4 SU2_CFD ...... and 4 instances of SU2 begin in serial.
SU2 works absolutely fine in serial and I have ran a multitude of successful sims in the past this way so I assume theres an error with my mpi installation. Does anyone have any idea what the problem could be? Thanks in advance |

That is usually caused by a mismatch between MPI versions.
Try to use the exact versions mentioned in the documentation. |

Thank you for the reply, I have used MS MPI v10.1.2, which is what is stated for SU2 7.1.0 so it should be fine in this respsect I think.
Do you happen to know of any other things that could cause this problem? Thank you |
