Hi all!
I would like to give higher order methods a try, but information on the FEM_NAVIER_STOKES solver is a bit scarce. There doesn't seem to be a tutorial that uses it, and also the User's Guide barely mentions it. Is this solver somewhat experimental or considered production-ready? Regards, Christian |

Hi Christian,
You can have a look in folders Testcases/hom_euler and hom_navierstokes there are a few examples you can run. It is important to compile SU2 with MKL to get decent performance. It is an area of SU2 (and CFD in general) in active development but it should be stable (i.e. no nasty bugs for the examples). Regards, Pedro |

Thank you, I'll give it a try!
Just found the mesh and config files. It's a bit confusing, that they are in different repos, but I could get the test cases to run. Any suggestions on which tools to use for generating higher order meshes? Regards, Christian |

Not really my area of expertise but I think pointwise has that feature.
