How to combine multiple meshes and create multi zone mesh

Dear SU2 Community
Currently, I am trying to figure out how to run a multi-row turbomachinery problem. I went through the test cases to see the structure. However the way that the grid was built, is not explained in there. I need to prepare a multi zone simulation with a single mesh file input. Even, when I combine multiple rows of mesh (I tend to start with only two rows, to see how thing work, for now) in a single file, when I try to read it with SU2_CFD, it says the mesh has only one zone. There is a Python file, merge.py, that may help but I am not sure. Up to now I created grid files in commercial software and export them in CGNS format. Time to time, I tried to convert and manipulate the grid in Gmsh. Once, I also used SU2_DEF to indirectly convert the file format. Anyways, I couldn't succeed. Any comment will be appreciated. Many thanks for your help. |
