Hi Folks,
Hope all are doing well. I just have a confusion regarding the file formats that is suitable for TECPLOT. Previously, I had set the tabular format to PARAVIEW and I was able to post-process using PARAVIEW (SU2 generated .vtk files). However, .vtk files are not supported by TECPLOT. Can anyone assist me in what changes I have to make in the configuration file for SU2 so that I can get surface_flow and flow file formats compatible with TECPLOT? Is there a way to generate .plt file from SU2?

Thanks.

Hi,

Thanks for your post, and sorry for the delay in response. You can set the output files to Tecplot using these options:

%
% Output tabular file format (TECPLOT, CSV)
TABULAR_FORMAT= TECPLOT
%
% Files to output
% Possible formats : (TECPLOT, TECPLOT_BINARY, SURFACE_TECPLOT,
% SURFACE_TECPLOT_BINARY, CSV, SURFACE_CSV, PARAVIEW, PARAVIEW_BINARY, SURFACE_PARAVIEW,
% SURFACE_PARAVIEW_BINARY, MESH, RESTART_BINARY, RESTART_ASCII, CGNS, STL)
% default : (RESTART, PARAVIEW, SURFACE_PARAVIEW)
OUTPUT_FILES= (RESTART, PARAVIEW, SURFACE_PARAVIEW)
