Hi Folks,
Hope all are doing well. I just have a confusion regarding the file formats that is suitable for TECPLOT. Previously, I had set the tabular format to PARAVIEW and I was able to post-process using PARAVIEW (SU2 generated .vtk files). However, .vtk files are not supported by TECPLOT. Can anyone assist me in what changes I have to make in the configuration file for SU2 so that I can get surface_flow and flow file formats compatible with TECPLOT? Is there a way to generate .plt file from SU2? Thanks. |

Hi,
Thanks for your post, and sorry for the delay in response. You can set the output files to Tecplot using these options: % % Output tabular file format (TECPLOT, CSV) TABULAR_FORMAT= TECPLOT % % Files to output % Possible formats : (TECPLOT, TECPLOT_BINARY, SURFACE_TECPLOT, % SURFACE_TECPLOT_BINARY, CSV, SURFACE_CSV, PARAVIEW, PARAVIEW_BINARY, SURFACE_PARAVIEW, % SURFACE_PARAVIEW_BINARY, MESH, RESTART_BINARY, RESTART_ASCII, CGNS, STL) % default : (RESTART, PARAVIEW, SURFACE_PARAVIEW) OUTPUT_FILES= (RESTART, PARAVIEW, SURFACE_PARAVIEW) % |
