Does SU2 support high-temperature frozen flow? i.e where various thermodynamic properties are a function of the local static temperature? mu = mu(T), gamma = gamma(T)?

SU2 can use polynomial models of thermal conductivity and laminar viscosity.
Non ideal fluids (variable gamma) can be modeled via Van der Walls' or Peng-Robinson's models. There is also on-going development for hypersonic flows (including the modeling of chemical reactions, ionization) see https://github.com/su2code/SU2/pull/1014 and SU2 V7.0.5 Hypersonic |
