A quick quesiton, does SU2 support 6DOF analysis in CFD calcualtions? i didn't find any references in the software documentation.

Hello James, your best bet is to implement the 6 DOF solver yourself in python and use the SU2 python wrapper: Prescribed mesh deformation unsteady simulation
This might help if you want to take this route: https://github.com/su2code/SU2/pull/902 To my knowledge no one is working on "native" 6 DOF capabilities. And from my experience people don't really pick up "feature requests". |
