Hello All
I have run a flow and adjoint problem with SU2 v7.0 in the same way i used to with v6.2, and both have converged as expected. When i go to visualise the adjoint solution in paraview, i can only see the variables: adjoint density, adjoint momentum and adjoint energy in the .vtu file. So, i ran SU2_DOT_AD in the hopes it would output surface_sensitivity.vtu, however all it does is give the output: Error in "virtual void CPhysicalGeometry::SetSensitivity(CConfig*)": ------------------------------------------------------------------------- Sensitivity x not found in file. ------------------------------ Error Exit ------------------------------- Is there an option in the config file that somehow switched this off or caused the sensitivities to not be saved? i am using a modified version of config-template-v7.cfg Thanks! Hi,
SU2_DOT_AD should read in the mesh sensitivities from the adjoint solution file, not from a visualization file. Could you have a look what's in solution_adj_* ? Unless you didn't touch the volume output option, they should be included... Best, Ole |

Hi Tom,
the problem was that the sensitivity was not added by default. Should be solved with version 7.0.5 which was just released. Best, Tim
