Hi,
I am using SU2 7.03 in AMD 3990x 64core cpu. I hope to run SU2 separately in same time. This is one job using 32 cores, and other job using 32 cores simultaneously. Is there any method to run like that? Now I am using parallel_computation.py to run the parallel simulation. Thanks in advance. |

Hi Hyunko,
You should be able to run both cases simultaneously. You simply need to call parallel_computation twice! Be sure to run your cases in separate folders so your outputs don't overwrite eachother! Wally |

Thanks wallym.
I have tried two “parallel_computation.py -f test.cfg -n 32” in different folders. But the calculation speeds are different between two runs. These are same mesh, same cfg. The speed difference almost double. 1st 32core job shows 5sec/iter, 2nd shows 10/iter. Is there any method to make the calculation time even? |
